2nd week of work

I wander off to shopping (bloor & yonge) and forgot to have my lunch today~ lol
tho I spent my whole day reading off ppt slides,, I can definitely say I'm liking my job A Lot so far
it's so close to wt's happening out there, and it's so fast-paced and excited. :]
can't wait to learn more and start contributing!

連日來就要做令人好mung既group presentation 好憎d咁既人
最後尋日既meeting逃亡了去church band practice 同dinner
然後係半誘半迫既情況下去左睇transformer2, 場面極混亂, 就暴動咁
第二日canada day,冇著紅色俾人話.
其實好多功課"待做"但係樣樣皆缺 最後去左church個嘉年華幫手
扭波扭左成日,晒黑埋
一開始覺得熱鬧既氣氛實在好唔適合我, 一萬個想走, 不過hea hea 下都覺得幾好玩

Hi, 又到reading week了, 幸好試早就考完了, 只有忙著準備assignment而已
前天去唱k, 朋友的朋友在房裡吸煙, 佔咪佔全晚, 討厭極了. 也不明白"猜妹"的魅力所在. 究竟是贏家厲害?還是輸得多的能喝的厲害? 大家就開開心心的喝酒聊天不好嗎?偏要把自己弄到醉了吐了才高興.
一直覺得自己離人群愈遠, 是因為交通不方便,也是因為自己太懶
可是眼看身邊好些人說著毫無意義的話題, 為雞毛蒜皮的小事黯然神傷, 不禁覺得實在難以融入
也許我沒有努力過嘗試, 但其實也是不屑去試
於是整天在連家也不算的屋子裡沒事幹
想著要是我有車就好了的無聊念頭
然後上xanga facebook看看, 看見別人快樂的回憶就不憤. 自憐
我從來就是獨立有想法,能處於人群中的人. 可是這兩年變得快也不認識自己了
別人都說相愛很難, 我可覺得交朋友還要難!!
掛念從前的自己 也掛念著你
旱鴨子
現在的我就像不懂游泳的旱鴨子倔強地在池中掙扎一般
星期二至四共6堂課, 時間表密得沒有喘息的空間
一方面得逼著自個兒面對繁重的功課, 一方面得在屋子裡自食其力,
誇張點說是被寂寞感扼殺中
一個勁兒只展望著4日的長週末
對, 我每個星期也有4日的長週末
感覺就是岸上的教練大慨看不過我的慘相, 一把把我撈出水面
每次我都是貪婪地呼吸著這得來不易的新鮮空氣
眷戀著這不真實的安全感
是不真實的, 因為當4天的限期滿了, 教練又會毫不留情把我扔進水裡
周而復始
新學期新開始 - 第一個week的最後一天
返學遲左少少,, 班房爆滿,, "唯有"去join fd打羽毛球啦*
咁耐冇郁過, 個心竟然有D負荷唔到!!!!
pick up 返久違既運動同朋友,, 一個字,, 爽呀!!!
今個學期既科都好demanding... 其實極洧lor!!!
唔係present 就係計數,, 仲要同人爭工做!!
要幫我加油呀!!!

The 2nd Day of Work
Getting to know the students in our department
Getting to know the supervisor and manager
Getting to know about the project
Getting my desk decorated with stationary
Getting my PC fixed
Good start I should say. I like the people I meet there.
Funny thing is my teammate and supervisor are all happened to be from HK :D of coz we agreed to Not speak Cantonese often, but at least we have common background and I'm sure it would be easier for me to gain appreciation.
So now i'm working in the "lower level" of the building, which is half a basement. It's kinda dark in there and my light wasn't working so basically today is "Grey". and since i'm living in the basement at my house,, I basically do not see the sun for the whole day! how "wonderful" =.="
Another thing is... my position is more of a IT job then business... well I'll see how it goes.. there must be something I can learn and apply later on. Hope I can take the most out of it instead of complaining!
PS. tmr will start snowing again. time to "observe" how the lady move in the snow with their ellagant high heels :)
The Start of Begining
so it was the first of work
full of presentation and presentations...
I told myself to keep open-minded and expect anything (well.. and of coz do not expect anything...)
and clearly that was a good strategy.
I was overwhelmed by the large number of Waterloo student and interestingly for the first time, I feel particular good for being a UofT student, maybe I don't like being the majority after all
Peers are nice, so are the speeching people
now I know more about the whole Co-op thing I feel a little bit more prepare for tomorrow: when I meet my line manager. Good luck to me
Well talking about luck. obviously I dun have much when it comes to meal options.
There's only one cafeteria in the building (and the food is.....) and nothing around the building. I guess I will have to resort to Timmy's after all.
In fact the thing worries me most, is the dress-code. How should I pick out pieces from my wardrobe to have a "business casual" outfit? Definitely not "business suit" + "casual wear" I'm sure, but sadly that's all I have with me. Saturday and Sunday will be shopping day, if I'm not killed by the double pressure of work and school that is.
OK so now i'll go back to my note jotting, as my textbook is gonna wave goodbye in 7 days
PS. and I just realize without a Token could be that depressing. Luckily I found someone to give me changes, or i'll have to walk 45min in the cold to fetch some. The first thing I gonna do in school tomorrow will be buying 40 Tokens.
